The annual EPPSilon Award recognizes excellence in issue-oriented public relations campaigns within the entertainment industry. The award series was created in 2002 in conjunction with the leadership of the Entertainment Industries Council, whose annual PRISM Awards recognize productions and performances accurately depicting drug, alcohol and tobacco use and addiction. Past EPPSilon award winners include ESPN’s “V-Foundation for Cancer”, Buena Vista Home Entertainment, NBC/Bravo and Showtime Networks.


Campaigns entered for The EPPSilon Award must be for entertainment products distributed or aired during the previous calendar year that have, as an element of the campaign, a cause-oriented or public service marketing tie-in.
