The Entertainment Publicists Professional Society was founded to bring together people from all areas of entertainment publicity to share their expertise, ideas, and to exchange information. EPPS is dedicated to providing their members with the tools and resources necessary for achieving professional excellence on both coasts.

Los Angeles

The Los Angeles Chapter has become the primary resource for continuing education for entertainment PR professionals on the west coast. Senior studio, network, agency and freelance marketing executives participate by providing input on topics to be covered by monthly panels and as moderators. EPPS advises UCLA Extension on the entertainment publicity course it offers on a regular basis. It also partners with the Publicists of the International Cinematographers Guild to provide education and training for the union’s publicist members.

New York

Located in the top media market, the New York chapter of EPPS reaches out to journalists, editors and producers from national and local news and entertainment outlets. EPPS members are given the opportunity to attend quarterly panel discussions and events featuring many of these media personalities. Additionally, EPPS New York collaborates with diverse media companies and organizations such as the Center for Communication, an independent media forum. EPPS members depend on the media to get their clients’ story told. To that end, EPPS New York has featured speakers from the leading traditional and digital media outlets, including The New York Times, “The Today Show”, “CNN”, CBS’ “Sunday Morning”, Entertainment Weekly, Daily Variety and The Hollywood Reporter. The topics covered focus on key and relevant industry issues and each session offers insight on how to achieve maximum results for each and every pitch.
